Welcome to Harbord 's Japanese Culture Club!
日本文化部へようこそ!

What is the Harbord Japanese Culture Club?
The Harbord Japanese Culture Club, or JCC for short, is a club that is committed in sharing Japanese culture to Harbord students.
We at JCC will explore many aspects of Japanese culture: anime/manga, music, fashion, food, language, history, etc.

What do you do at the Harbord JCC?
There are many things to do at the Harbord JCC!

We want to introduce to people different aspects of Japanese culture.
Japanese culture is not limited to only sushi, ninjas, sumo wrestlers and anime.
Thus, events will vary from anime screenings, discussions, panels on Japanese fashion, cuisine, popular cultures, etc. and even Japanese 101.
We want to introduce to everybody a different angle in Japanese culture.

When and where are the meetings?
Meetings are on Tuesdays during lunch, in room 308.

How do I find out about future screenings or events?
Listen to the morning announcements, check out the school fliers and the club homepage's scheduled events for special events or refer to the general meeting schedule.

Who can join?
Everyone is welcome to join!
New members are always welcome!

"I have a suggestion for an anime screening/panel discussion/workshop/etc."
That's great!
Email any suggestions you have to hcijcc@hotmail.com

Please email only your top 3 anime series suggestions to allow everyone to have a turn.
Keep in mind that this is a school club, therefore anime that contains nudity and extreme violence is not allowed.

"I missed out on a meeting, what do I do?"
Please read the meeting summary.
There you will be able to find out what you missed, and summary of workshops (if there happened to be any)
